The first one.......

So now I'm "blogging"..... what do I blog about??
Today is Monday July 20th 2009. I had an interesting weekend; Friday night I stayed home and watched movies with Lisa. I worked all day Saturday (by myself) finishing my patio. I'm almost done, just a few more small things to finish, like pulling the weeds under my deck!!! But I think, overall, it looks pretty nice.

Lisa was busy all day Saturday looking for wedding dresses. It fun to see her all excited. She's like a little kid with a bunch of magazines. She has a couple she really likes, but won't even give me a hint as to what they look like. (very frustrating, I want to know!!)

Sunday was a little more relaxed except for the argument Lisa and I got into. It's nice to know we can argue so nicely ( If that makes sense ). No low blows, no insults, just facts and a lot of frustration. The way I see it, no matter how much you love someone, you're gonna argue. Not that we argue a lot, maybe once a year, but a little spat everyonce in a while just makes for good makeup time later!!

Went for a couple of nice rides this weekend, a cold one on Saturday night, and an absolutely beautiful day to ride on Sunday. 75 degrees, no wind, and no humidity. Matt and I rode down by the platt river and out to Heron Bay for lunch. Sunday was a day that bikers dream of!!!! Now if I can just talk Lisa into riding w/ me it would be perfect. -good luck w/ that.

The annual "Jason Wright Invitational" golf tournament is next weekend and it's at my house this year. I've got a bunch of crap to finish before next Saturday including: my patio, cleaning up the yard, & cleaning the garage. I still need to go shopping. This year I'm wearing the "John Daly" outfit. Basically, it consists of the Loudest, Brightest, ugliest pants you can find, with a matching shirt. I oughta get a few good laughs out of it, but if that doesn't work then my golf game should do the trick. I haven't practiced half as much as I'd like to.
It's hard to believe it's been 5 years since Jason has passed. There really isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of him.
